About COLORcoordiNATION

2007 will mark the first year that the ColorCoordiNATION conference was presented in Minneapolis. The overall conference purpose and objectives are intended to be an uplifting, wellness and community building conference for GLBT people of color and their allies.

The conference will be held and located in Loring Park and Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC). ColorCoordiNATION will be a powerful pride event for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Two Spirit, same gender loving, allies and questioning people of African American, African born, Native American, Chicano/a , Asian and Pacific Islander heritage or descent.

During the two day conference on June 22nd and June 23rd, you can expect to participate in a opening event which will honor our leaders, past and present, in the community

The second day will feature workshops designed specifically for GLBT people of color and their allies. A keynote speaker as well as leaders within the community will be presenting the various workshops and closing community meeting.
